Purpose

Elastic tanks (LARN type) produced by NPF "Politechnika" are designed for collection, storage and transportation of oil pollution in the liquidation of emergency oil spills on water, soil

In case of an emergency, cleaning measures are carried out in different ways:

mechanical removal of oil products from the surface of land or water (using oil skimmers, separating oil from the water column, vacuum installations, collecting oil products from the surfaces and pumping them into special elastic tanks for storage and transportation of oil products, as well as motor pumps for lifting oil against gravity);
physical or chemical impact on oil products (use of substances to absorb oil from the environment - sorbents, or soil washing);
processing of oil waste with the use of microorganisms (biological method of purification of the environment).

and during planned works on objects of pipeline type transport.

In the tanks of the LARN type, liquid contaminants (oil products, various chemicals, biological organisms) collected from the surface of the land or water area are transported to storage or disposal facilities after cleaning.

Models:

1. Standard design. The LARN type tank can be installed separately from the cleaning equipment or on a trailer.
2. Mobile design. Equipment for cleaning operations and elastic tank are located inside a special container, also racks are installed inside in order to accommodate the equipment needed.

Taking into account the various features of the terrain, climate and many other factors, different complete sets of mobile OSR complexes have been developed, each of which has a certain set of special tools and devices for collecting oil products from the surface of water and land.

Advantages of elastic tanks produced by NPF "Politechnika":

Minimum deployment time. In contrast to traditional ways of getting rid of oil sludge, the use of soft tanks of LARN type give multiple benefits in time, logistics, operating and labor costs. No additional site arrangement is required to accommodate the tanks.
Individual approach. Specialists of NPF "Politechnika" will select the LARN type equipment to meet individual requirements of the customer taking into account features of collecting, transportation and processing of oil or oil products in a certain region and under certain conditions.
Reliability and durability. Soft tanks of LARN type for liquidation of emergency spills of oil products are made of durable materials, including fiberglass, polyurethane. Thanks to the use of advanced manufacturing technologies, their tightness is guaranteed, including at the seams.
No climatic restrictions on operation. Operating temperature range from -60°C up to +85°C. At the same time, all operational properties are preserved – materials are resistant to temperature changes;
Compact and easy equipment of tanks. Elastic tanks of LARN type have a small transport weight and small dimensions in the folded position.
Ecological safety. Soft elastic tanks are not exposed to various types of corrosion. The materials used are inert to petroleum products and hazardous chemicals.

In March 2016, a field fuel storage facility of PSG-5000 type was commissioned at our mine, it consists of 20 elastic tanks of PER-250 type, with a total capacity of 5000 m³. The reason for the installation - the replacement of obsolete elastic tanks of type ArcticKingTank 125 m³ produced by SEIIndustries Ltd (Canada). Equipment and materials of PSG-5000 were delivered to the site in full completeness and in good condition. The kit takes into account everything, up to rags, and with sufficient stock. Installation supervision works on installation of tanks are organized at a high level, performed as soon as possible and efficiently, despite the harsh weather conditions. During the period of operation of the tanks, no deficiencies were identified.

In September 2014, LLC NPF "Politechnika" carried out for JSC "NNK-Taimyrneftegazdobycha" rapid delivery, deployment, installation and commissioning of a field fuel warehouse (PSG) with a capacity of 3000 m³. Thanks to the competent organization of installation works by the contractor, despite the severe weather and climatic conditions, the warehouse was prepared for acceptance of fuel in the shortest possible time. During the work process, the contractor's specialists not only participated personally in the installation, but also trained the employees of JSC "NNK-Taimyrneftegazdobycha" in order, features of operation and maintenance of tanks, unit acceptance, procedures for minor repairs of products. It is also necessary to note the ease of deployment of both the canopies and the tanks themselves (the elementary presence of metal rings on the canopies and the presence of welded handles on the tanks removes a lot of problems on their deployment). Such approach to the project also makes cooperation with NPF "Polytechnic" attractive in comparison with other similar manufacturers.
