Purpose

Polymeric cylindrical form sealed insert, PEP-ZMT, produced by NPF “Politechnika” is designed to protect contact of transformer oil from any type of contamination (external corrosive agents such as oxidation and moistening.

Humidification or oxidation of transformer oil during operation leads to "aging" of the oil, resulting in accelerated destruction of the insulation of transformers.

The usage of inner polymer insert of the internal cavity allows to extend the service life of transformer oil by 30%.

Technical characteristics:

The internal cavity of flexible shell is filled with air coming from the external environment through the pipe. The bottom of the expander under the protective sheath is filled with oil. There is no air between the walls of the expander and the shell. While temperature changes the level of oil in the expander adjacent to the surface of the oil shell side follows it.

Installation

The inner polymeric insert PEP-ZMT is installed in the above-oil space of the expansion tank of the transformer substation. It is attached to the inner walls of the expansion tank with hinges.

Materials

Soft insert for transformer oil tank PER-ZTM is made of high-quality materials resistant to hot transformer oil, silicone fluids and biodegradable transformer oil. The material has high resistance to abrasion and retains flexibility at extreme temperatures.
