Purpose

Fuel storage facilities (PSG) — ready to move mobile tank farms, consisting of several elastic tanks of PER-N type. They are intended for acceptance, storage and delivery of fuel and petroleum products as well as for storage of crude oil in field conditions for the period of work in the designated area.

Fuel storage facilities for petroleum products are widely used both for military and civilian purposes, providing reliable uninterrupted operation of equipment and infrastructure.

Delivery of fuel to PSG is carried out by road transport on winter roads, as well as by oil tankers, railway tanks or field trunk pipelines (PMRT).

Fields of application:

Construction and development of remote facilities (pipelines, oil fields, gold mines, shift camps, roads, etc.).
Construction of infrastructure for geological surveys.

Materials used

PSGs are made using two-beam technology. The material of the shells of the tanks is a high-strength fabric-polyester or nylon with a double-sided polyurethane coating of ballistic (linen) weaving. The fabric is intended for storage of oil products and has high strength, wear-resistant and frost-resistant performance. PERs are made of nylon fabrics with a double-sided coating.

Benefits of elastic tanks of NPF "Politechnika”:

Radical investment savings. The total capital savings on construction of the fuel storage facility (shipping costs, installation and maintenance) is up to 70%, compared with the installation of traditional-type metal tanks such as RVS and RGS.
Low product loss during storage. The lack of boundary between the product/air eliminates the large and small tank breathing. Standard losses are not provided.
High mobility. Soft tanks can be delivered to the place of operation by any type of transport (land, air and water) in the most remote regions of the country. The compactness of elastic tanks allows to place a complete fuel storage facility with a nominal capacity of up to 1 000 cubic meters in the one standard 20 foot container.
Versatility. Elastic tanks as part of mobile fuel storage facilities are designed to work in a wide variety of climatic zones, have a wide range of operating temperatures - from -50°C up to + 85°C
Arctic version
New generation tanks are made of frost-resistant thermoplastic polyurethane composites. In the temperature range up to -50°C, the material of the tanks does not lose its elastic qualities. Due to this, PSGs from NPF "Politechnika” are ideal for the construction of mobile oil and fuel storage facilities depots at numerous facilities for the development of hydrocarbon deposits and other mineral reserves of Siberia, the Arctic and the Far North, as well as for the construction and development of remote facilities, such as pipelines, oil fields, gold mines, shift camps, roads, etc.

The lifetime of PSGs of NPF "Politechnika" is 12 years. Elastic tanks are designed for multiple application cycles. Double-shell polyurethane elastic tanks for various purposes of NPF "Politechnika" were developed in collaboration with experts of the 25th National scientific institute of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation (Patent of the Russian Federation №2304553).
Quick and easy installation. Unfolding and folding of the the PSGs is made by a team of 6-8 people during several hours. Unfolding and folding in case of the temperature not less than -50°C, the tanks do not require additional heating. Soft tanks using in the PSGs, in contrast to the standard RGS and RVS tank types, don’t require the preparing of the foundation. Elastic tanks can be placed on unprepared surfaces: soil, snow, swamps, ravines, trenches, etc.
Ecological safety. PSGs are not subject to corrosion and adverse environmental effects. After completion of the work, there are no semi-full tanks and barrels in the site, which are a dangerous source of man-made pollution. Land reclamation after operation of PSG is not required.

In March 2016, a field fuel storage facility of PSG-5000 type was commissioned at our mine, it consists of 20 elastic tanks of PER-250 type, with a total capacity of 5000 m³. The reason for the installation - the replacement of obsolete elastic tanks of type ArcticKingTank 125 m³ produced by SEIIndustries Ltd (Canada). Equipment and materials of PSG-5000 were delivered to the site in full completeness and in good condition. The kit takes into account everything, up to rags, and with sufficient stock. Installation supervision works on installation of tanks are organized at a high level, performed as soon as possible and efficiently, despite the harsh weather conditions. During the period of operation of the tanks, no deficiencies were identified.

In September 2014, LLC NPF "Politechnika" carried out for JSC "NNK-Taimyrneftegazdobycha" rapid delivery, deployment, installation and commissioning of a field fuel warehouse (PSG) with a capacity of 3000 m³. Thanks to the competent organization of installation works by the contractor, despite the severe weather and climatic conditions, the warehouse was prepared for acceptance of fuel in the shortest possible time. During the work process, the contractor's specialists not only participated personally in the installation, but also trained the employees of JSC "NNK-Taimyrneftegazdobycha" in order, features of operation and maintenance of tanks, unit acceptance, procedures for minor repairs of products. It is also necessary to note the ease of deployment of both the canopies and the tanks themselves (the elementary presence of metal rings on the canopies and the presence of welded handles on the tanks removes a lot of problems on their deployment). Such approach to the project also makes cooperation with NPF "Polytechnic" attractive in comparison with other similar manufacturers.

On February 2014, LLC Drilling Service Company purchased from the company NPF Politechnika LLC two sets of elastic reservoirs, PED-100N, with a total capacity of 2000 cubic meters. m for operation at the Khancheyskoye field in the Yamal-Nenetskiy Autonomous Okrug.
