Purpose

As the fire statistics show, the speed of access and the serviceability of the water supply system plays a crucial role in fire-fighting.

Fire-fighting tanks based on the elastic tanks of PER-VT type – is effective method of prevention and liquidation of fires.

Spheres of application:

Organization of temporary storage standard stocks of industrial water at the sites of industrial and civil construction;
Organization of fire-fighting tanks in fire-dangerous zones of agriculture and forestry (forest parks, fields).
Fire-fighting using special means (helicopter equipment).

Models:

1. Stationary fire tank for water storage in case of fire fighting with volume from 1 up to 100 meters³ and more.
2. Intermediate fire-figting storage and distribution tank for water supply from the source to the fire using a hose line longer than 2-3 km, with capacity from 1 up to 120 meters³ and more.
3. Transportation fire-fighting tank for delivery of water to the fire on board and on platforms of cars, in containers for solid waste, with capacity of up to 30 meters³.
4. Suspended elastic tank in helicopter modification to deliver water to remote and inaccessible places to ensure the operation of mobile fire-fighting team. Capacity 1, 3, 5 and 15 meters³
5. Insert for construction of fire-fighting tanks based on steel and concrete and open tanks.
6. Waterproof coating for artificial reservoirs and temporary ponds and fire-fighting ponds.

Advantages of fire-fighting tanks based on elastic tanks of PER-VT type produced by NPF "Politechnika":

Minimum storage and operation requirements. Fire-fighting elastic tanks do not require special storage conditions. There are no special requirements for the readiness of the soil and the terrain of the site for the placement of fire-fighting water tanks.
Long service life. Fire-fighting tanks can withstand many cycles of water filling and discharge.

Materials

In March 2016, a field fuel storage facility of PSG-5000 type was commissioned at our mine, it consists of 20 elastic tanks of PER-250 type, with a total capacity of 5000 m³. The reason for the installation - the replacement of obsolete elastic tanks of type ArcticKingTank 125 m³ produced by SEIIndustries Ltd (Canada). Equipment and materials of PSG-5000 were delivered to the site in full completeness and in good condition. The kit takes into account everything, up to rags, and with sufficient stock. Installation supervision works on installation of tanks are organized at a high level, performed as soon as possible and efficiently, despite the harsh weather conditions. During the period of operation of the tanks, no deficiencies were identified.

In September 2014, LLC NPF "Politechnika" carried out for JSC "NNK-Taimyrneftegazdobycha" rapid delivery, deployment, installation and commissioning of a field fuel warehouse (PSG) with a capacity of 3000 m³. During the work process, the contractor's specialists not only participated personally in the installation, but also trained the employees of JSC "NNK-Taimyrneftegazdobycha" in order, features of operation and maintenance of tanks, unit acceptance, procedures for minor repairs of products. It is also necessary to note the ease of deployment of both the canopies and the tanks themselves (the elementary presence of metal rings on the canopies and the presence of welded handles on the tanks removes a lot of problems on their deployment).
